Tracy

I have been very busy this past few weeks so I haven’t got a chance to process photos from previous shoots. I am glad that today is a holiday, at least I had a chance to work on my backlogs.

Still from my previous shoot, here’s Tracy. She is a very quiet person, but is actually fun to work with. She is very photogenic and projects very well in front of the camera.

Make up on this one was done by Shen.

Francine

Francine was also one of our models last shoot. She is very versatile and easy to work with. We really enjoyed shooting her, too bad we didn’t had much time that day. She literally brought her whole closet to the studio, too bad we only get to shoot two layouts. Oh well, there’s always next time.

Make up was done by Shen. Drop by her site and say hi.

Mikaela

We sort of had a reunion shoot last Saturday at Studioshots after  a 4-month long hiatus of not shooting together. Everybody have been busy these past few months to shoot together. Hopefully, this collaboration will return to its twice-a-month routine as it was before.

Aside from the usual cast of photographers (Noel, Patrick, Gulliver, Raymund and me), we we’re joined by Rap and AJ yesterday. We have met at Manor Superclub numerous times before, so working together is actually beyond fun.

Shen, our MUA for that day was super nice. She was like an Energizer Bunny, giving 4 models more than one look each. We were also graced by the presence of our lovely models, namely Mikaela, Francine, Jackie and Tracy.

Broken

The other night, I took an extra mile in post processing one of Christina’s photo. Not my usual style, but I want to create something artsy and avant-garde-ish without screaming Photoshop.

Browsing the photos of her, a spark of idea came on me upon seeing this pose. I felt myself wanting to create something sad, derailed and broken. But still sexy. LOL. So there. Enjoy.

Christina

This post is long overdue, I know. I have been busy with work lately, that’s why I haven’t been able to update this blog (and the processing of the photos too) as often is I want. Almost a month had passed since I posted the teaser photo. But here it is now.

Makeup was done by the lovely Jamie.

Ladies and gentlemen, without further delay, Christina.

Makeup Photography

Following my post (the intro) earlier this week, here are the individual pictures as promised. But before that, I would like to acknowledge the participation of these lovely ladies for this project.

Makeup Photography, An Intro

I was deeply honored when Sophie asked me to shoot her makeup thesis. She’s been in Singapore for half a year to study make up, and part of her thesis is to come up with 10 looks, and of course, to document it.

I must say that her skills improved a lot (read: leaps and bounds) from before, and I am really happy and excited for her. I did 5 looks. Here’s a preview. (Click the photo to view larger version)

Individual photos to follow.

Christina, a Teaser

Yesterday, Patrick and I had a shoot. We had Christina, who is a very lovely girl by the way, to model for us. Too bad her friend wasn’t able to make it. Despite the lack of time, and the limitations of the studio, we still managed to capture beautiful shots. Make up was done by Jamie Paunan.

More photos to come after I find time to process them.

Faces of Poverty

Shot these photos along Road 10 in Manila, near North Harbor. Just people going on with their daily lives.

Jamie

Here are the photos of Jamie from the last shoot. The 24-70L is one amazing lens, it really proved its worth. Now, I don’t have any excuses to deliver mediocre shots. LOL.
