I have been using my EF 24-70mm f/2.8L as my all around lens lately. Wonderful and fantastic as it is, the wide end just couldn’t cut it. To solve that problem, I recently acquired an EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 to complement my current stable of lenses and cater the wide end.

I brought it to the beach in Nasugbu, Batangas 2 weeks ago for a spin. Here are some of the shots I took.

Going wide is a much challenging field than I had expected, but nevertheless fun. Its not about getting it all in, its about getting closer and putting yourself in the picture.

Expect more wide shots as I learn and experiment with this new baby.
